 Getting Started (recommended)

So you're new here? That's great, I hope you enjoy it.. if you don't, then you can always suggest things to make Aerei better for you. ^^

Step 1:
Go to the board 'register here' after you've activated your account. Fill out your trainer details as it tells you in the first post. This is so an administrator can make you your trainer profile to view your items and pokemon etc.

Step 2:
Go to the board 'professor Birch' and then to the lab. You can choose any of the starters from any of the regions, and no other pokemon! You may get other pokemon either by catching it (duh) or by winning competitions, or doing a quest or errand for a character in Aerei, or a few other ways. ;D

Step 3:
Make a thread in Conifer Town and start to roleplay! You technically don't have to start in the town, as the only requirement for getting into the forest is having a pokemon, which you do by now, but people generally like to introduce their character with a short intro in which they get to know their new partner pokemon and look around Aerei for the first time. =D

Step 4:
Yes, there are requirements for getting into the next sections of Aerei, but don't worry, it's nothing too taxing.

Step 5:
You as a trainer have NO CONTROL over the environment around you! You can only control your characters and your pokemon. You can't induce a wild pokemon battle or find an item unless told otherwise by a member of staff. Finding things like berries to eat on a tree are fine, but you cannot find things like status healing berries. ^^

Step 6:
In battles, admin will tell you the percentages of your pokemon every so often. 0% means fainted. As a general rule, you can't really catch a fainted pokemon, as it will have probably run away by then. =D

Step 7:
Ask questions if you're stuck! Everyone here is happy to help you.
Good luck on becoming a pokemon master. =D
