(Technically we all abandoned it before the summer holidays, but I'll come back since I loved it aswell ^^)
Crystal sat on her rock, wings still out quite wide ebfore she started to flap slightly and move above, flying above the area. Now she was where no one could get her and still able to look down on the people below and the wonderful shineyness.. So sparkly.. So nice... The occasional person who got caught under her shadow looked up, but not many of them seemed to recognice that she was half human.. Well, not many until one reliesed a fearow to find out, the pokemon flying up, instantly recognising the fact she was a 'morph not a 'mon and starting to try adn attack at her, her yelping, starting to fly quicker, trying to dive down and get out of it in time so the fearow wouldn't, but in her panic her ending up on the floor, landing not that far away from Laura...

When she herd the loud crash, Laura spun around. There, laying, at her feet was another like herself. "Are you ok?" she asked, holding out a hand to help Crystal up. She removed her hat to reveal her burning hair. "Don't worry, I'm one of you." She gave the girl a small smile. "What happened?"

Crystal frowned slightly, trying to get up best she could, before the fearow diving down to try and have another go at her, her yelping and ending up back on teh floor again, trying to shoot out a bubblebeam of sorts but it all missing in her panic. "That happened..." she groaned

Laura instinctively jumped backward. The Fearow's appearance had startled her. Narrowing her eyes to red slits, she glared at the bird type pokemon. It was so typical that any normal pokemon would attack anyone that was different then them. The same thing had happened to her with the mighteyenna. It made Laura sick.
In a brilliant burst of flame, Laura converted to her ponyta form. She was ready for a messy battle. Opening her mouth, she flung a huge flamethrower attack at the fearow.

The fearows trainer ran aroudn the corner, starting to move to watch the fight and give the fearow instructions, just in time to see Laura morphing, his eyes widening.
"Drill, attack them both!" he called up quickly, takign out two spare pokeballs, ready to throw, him lookign almost ready to attack himself at them..

Laura tilted an ear toward the rambunctious trainer. It was of chief importance that she know what he would tell his fearow to do. She had to stay ahead of her opponent.
Forgetting that Crystal was in danger of being attacked too, she darted out of the way of the fearow.

Crystal quickly moved to try another bubblebeam at teh pokemon before ducking, knowing it shouldn't attack her closer to teh ground from that angle, her thanking that she was right, the fearow raising up.
"Drill! quick! Drill peck the dragon thing!" the trainer called, Crystal wincing at her being singled out on.

Crystal groaned at the misunderstanding, stretching her wings out quickly, moving away slightly to start a simple Dragon Dance. "Up.." she muttered, just about managing to dodge a Fearow attack, it hitting on her tail instead of body where it was aimed, nad her using the new found speed from the dance to quickly shoot into teh air, her swooping back around to move to grab Laura.
"Now, or I can't carry you out! You're more injured then me!"

Cursing herself for being so stupid, Laura shifted from ponyta form to human form. "Up..." she muttered to herself as she jumped into the air. "You better know what your doing!" she called to the other pokemorph. Laura had never flown before, and she wasn't too excited for her first go at it.

Crystal didn't seem to notice her mutterances, carrying on flying, takign her acrfully in a flying version of firemans lift, carrying on flying as far away as she could, muttering quietly about not liking human towns anymore..

Laura lay across Crystal's shoulders, staring down at the 'morphs feet. The wind created by flapping wings blew her hair every which way. Surprisingly, it looked rather normal at the moment. Only a few sparks flew from it every now and again.
The girl sighed. Hopefully no one else would get curious about their odd silhouettes in the sky. This was definitely no position to fight in. "We need potions." Laura finally said. "When we come to the next town I can buy some."

Laura pulled her cap back over her hair and studied the ground. "Life is tough..." she said. "I'll get the potion and you can try to find berries. Just remember the pokemon are as prejudiced as the humans." She stared forbodingly at the path below them.
What Crystal said had hit a nerve. Memories of an old fling rushed through her mind, and Laura was glad Crystal couldn't see her forlorne face in this position over her shoulder. He had been the perfect guy. Cute, funny, thoughtful. Human. Laura was lucky that she kept her hair under control for the month that they were together because the moment it ignited he labeled her a freak. Why did people have to hate what they didn't understand?

((Oh wow. I'm so sorry. I guess I had a brain fart and thought we already landed. I'll tweak my post so it makes more sense.)
After they had landed, Laura made her way down the path. "I'll be back soon, I promise!" she called over her shoulder a little louder than she intended. She was just so nervous. She couldn't let that stop her, though, so she broke to a jog knowing the town was getting closer with each bouncing step.

Crystal watched her go, frowning slightly. "Something tells me somethings gonna happen.." she muttered quietly, just starting to sit down and curl up slightly, tail curled around to teh front, her just softly smoothing her wings slightly.
(if you want me to i can play anyone in the town.. I'm used to creating characters on teh spot because the other person wants them there from other roleplays.. =3)

The worn trail stretched invitingly out in front of Laura. The branches hanging over and into the path moved with the breeze as if waving the girl forward. She did, feeling the peace of this wooded trail. Laura savored this moment of quiet for she new the bustle of the town would soon meet her, and she would be once again surrounded by arrogant humans.
It didn't take her long at all to arrive at her destination. It was a small town with a mart, a pokecenter, and a few houses scattered here and there. The fact that there was no gym explained why it wasn't a very busy place. There were only two trainers inside the mart, buying necessities for their adventures.
Though no one cast a glance her way, Laura felt as if curious eyes were staring at her, just waiting for her hair to go up in flame. "I'll take a few potions." she addressed the clerk. She perched her sunglasses on the bridge of her nose, not wanting her blood-red eyes to be noticed.

The shopkeep glanced her over, half used to seeing new people in the mart, but rarely seeing girls on their own.
"That'd be 450 AG maam." he said calmly, frowning at her slightly, starting to notice the red eyes but not making much of them. His reaction wasn't major, just slightly surprised...

Keeping her eyes on the counter, Laura pulled a crumpled bit of money out of her pocket. "I only have 300." she said, placing the stuff on the counter. Of coarse, spending most of her time away from humans left her without proper means to acquire money so she occasionally had to pick-pocket some unsuspecting stranger.
Now she let her eyes move up and down the sales clerk, sizing him up, though her eyes never met his. She was never very good a haggling. Perhaps she too frank about it. Anyway, if her offer was refused she would just have to find other means of getting what she wanted.

Though she was more than a little irritated at the significant change in number of potions, Laura took the remaining bottles with relief. It was better than nothing. With a brief nod of her head she slipped out the door. Now all she had to do was get back to Crystal and everything would be fine again.
