Hareichi walked into the mansion, queitly following after Kitty. He looked about and saw a Gastly. And another. And another.
"Oooh, Gaslies!" he thought. These were among his favorite pokemon.

"Ok, so there's nothing I have to do here in specific," Kitty explained. "It's just part of my rounds. The forest, the mansion, and the village, and then back to HQ, and then back to the forest to start it all again..." She sighed, obviously getting a little bored of the whole thing. "Anyway, feel free to catch anything. Just because I'm a Ranger doesn't mean I'm really against that kind of thing." She laughed, tapping the three pokeballs on her belt. "I used to be a Trainer myself."

Hareichi nodded, and then tossed a pokeball at one of the Gastlies, hoping to catch it without any violence.

The Gastly was highly offended, popping out immediately. "Gaaaaastly!" it cried out, bobbing about in anger.
"It's ok, it's ok," Kitty said in a soothing tone. "We don't want any trouble." It calmed down a little, but carried on eying them carefully.

((Hey! I'm pretty sure most of the people have caught pokemon randomly on this site. Humph. Now I want a Murkrow so I can kick that Gastly's butt.))

"Gaaas?" it asked her.
"Yeah, it would be a lot of fun," Kitty said to it. "I promise."
"Gaaas," it said, then grinned.
"Ok, try again," Kitty said to Hareichi.

((Really? Huh. That explains why you tossed that pokeball back to me near the beginning. I remember one time I was battling in the game and I accidentally used a my only Master Ball. Whooooooooooops.))

((Masterballs are so sadistic. I sat staring at Dialga for like 20 minutes in Diamond, realising I hadn't saved in ages and couldn't restart if I accidentally killed it, so had to use my masterball... anyway... XP))

((I cought Mesprit with my masterball the first time around. I'm on my second time around this time, and I don't plan on using it on her this time. I have a pokemon with Mean Look, or whatever it is that prevents fleeing.))
Hareichi jumped up and said, "Yippee!" one of his favorite pokemon was Haunter, and he'll have him soon.

"Interesting!" said Hareichi, tossing out his Turtwig. "Use Tackle!"

Hareichi blinked. "Erm, return Turtwig..." he said, kind of plase of the situation. He rummaged through his pack and picked out his Senetret. "Go, Senetret!" he cast the ball onto the ground, "Use tackle!"

Zubat seemed to freeze slightly in confusion at teh swapping of the pokemon before launching into another Leech Life to try and get the pokemon while it was geting used to surroundings.. But that not exactly working as it got hit again.

The Zubat was knocked back and hit the decaying wall behind it. It took a moment to recover, but then started shrieking - a sound you couldn't really hear, but still felt like it was gnawing into your brain. Supersonic.
